ABOUT YANDI

Youth Action for Nigerian Development Initiative (YANDI) is a signature initiative of Pabio Stone geared towards Nation building.

YANDI is an inspired effort to re-invent and re-direct the ship called Nigeria with a view to transforming her through youth development.

Around 65% of Nigeria’s 180 million people are below the age of 35 thereby providing a critical mass required to bring about an intellectual, physical and social transformation in the lives of the Nigerian people.

A non violent but intellectual revolution is the way forward to achieve the Nigeria of our dreams. The Promised Land is within our sight but it will require us all putting on a new pair of glasses to see it clearly. A clear sense of visionary leadership and effective followership are indispensable keys in this next phase in the Nigerian history as it pertains to YANDI.

The concept of YANDI began in 2014 but was officially launched in December, 2015. YANDI will serve as the platform to actualize the VISION 2025 Nigerian dream.

YANDI relies on the energy, intelligence and industry of the Nigerian youths to bring about a positive transformation in Nigeria. YANDI will specifically target the following seven (7) areas; Agriculture, Education, Health Care Delivery, Technology & ICT, Entrepreneurship & Youth Empowerment, Leadership & Governance, Sustainable Development & Climate Change. Attention will be paid to gender balance, female empowerment and proper integration of people with disability in the overall YANDI programs and projects.

These seven areas of interest are categorized into three major program areas; Social Support Program, Skill for Jobs (S4J), and Skill for Enterprise (S4E)

YANDI is designed to be a massive employment generation machine in Nigeria that will drive unemployment down significantly. YANDI strategy will deliver a minimum of 1 million jobs per annum at full capacity.

YANDI is committed to promoting the post 2015 Sustainable development goals (SDGs) with a view to delivering prosperity to all Nigerians and Africa in general.

The YANDI International Center (YIC) is currently being designed. The YIC will be a mini city that will serve as the head quarters for the YANDI initiative. This mini city will be Nigeria’s center for grooming a new generation of young leaders, entrepreneurs and visionaries who will put Nigeria and Africa on the map of the 21st century. The city will be a simple blend of a learning environment, business, entertainment and sport with a view to grooming well rounded individuals. The YIC will be the first elaborate tourist cum youth empowerment center in Osun State, Nigeria that will attracts numerous people from around the world.
The YIC will support at least
·         1600 Residents
·         4000 Workers
·         1,000,000 Visitors Annually

At YANDI we remain very positive that this huge dream will find support both nationally and internationally for us to achieve this Nigerian and African dream. We hereby humbly call on every Nigerian, African and friends of Africa to support this noble course in all capacities; intellectual, material and financial.
